ACTIVITIES IN THIS COURSE

FAMILY CAMP

Family camp will be conducted each semester to provide opportunities for junior to know the seniors, staff support and lecturer. These camps usually run for 3 days and 2 nights in the forest of Camp UiTM Sri Gading. This camp was called Camp tradition by every student of the Diploma in wood industry.

FOREST CAMP

Forest camp is the one that is most preferred by each student for the camp is being run out of their campus.  Forest camp is the one form eight subject in diploma in wood industry in semester 2. Place to be visited for this camp was monkey beach, Penang, for one week. Camp Sri Gading,Uitm for 3 day 2 night and Hutan Lipur Lentang, Bentong,Pahang for 3 day 2 night. i'm really sure that all student will get a new experience when follow this camp.

INTERPART

Interpart is exercise conducted each semester by faculty to strengthen the relationship of each student and cultivate teamwork. Any group that participated and won will receive a prize and certificate. The sports conducted are:-

1. volleyball ( women+men)
2. netball (women only)
3. futsal(men only)

DINNER

Conducted anxious celebrate the first semester students and the end of semester for part 5. Each dinner has a theme of their own. So no need to worry about to attend this dinner because you can wearing any dress according to the theme that already given and in planning.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. If the program of your choice is not in the selection list of programs, please refer to the Student Intake Division.

7. ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA :- 

• Aged at least 16 years of age on the date of application 
• Malaysian 
• Eligible Bumiputera status 
• Meet the minimum eligibility requirements for each program applied 
• Never been convicted of any criminal offense or not in the process of waiting for the criminal proceedings against 
• Students studying in any university DO NOT apply unless the student UiTM

INTRODUCTION TO AS117

AS117 or diploma in Wood Industry  offered in UiTM Pahang is a program of six semesters or three years. In addition to the theory and laboratory work to study at university, students are also required to undergo Practical Training in the wood-based industries. This is to enable students to integrate academic principles they have learned to actual industry practices and also familiarize themselves with the work environment. terms CAREER PROSPECTS graduates of this program have scope for a career in the food industry or other relevant, among them is an Assistant Research Officer, Assistant, Scientific Officer, Assistant Officer, Assistant Manager, Laboratory and Entrepreneur.

I create this blog to introduce SPM student about Diploma in wood industry UiTM. I feel that SPM leavers are not interested in entering this field because they do not know the various information about this diploma and the box thinking they just say what they want to work on this field compared to other fields such as science and  so on. In this blog I want to share a little bit about this course.
